About Calmer Dog
Calmer Dog helps UK dog owners find an accredited behaviourist or trainer when their dog is struggling with reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety or puppy problems. It's run by Krishan, trading as KJLabs, a small independent publisher. We're not a training business and we don't give behaviour or veterinary advice ourselves.
How we choose listings
- Opt-in only. Professionals choose to be listed by applying through our Join page. Listing is free. We never copy people from a register without asking.
- Accredited only. Before listing anyone, we check their entry on the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) register. Each listing shows their exact ABTC role, links to their register entry and shows the date we checked it.
- Their own words. Professionals give us their details and a short description. We may edit the description for length and style.
- Regular checks. We recheck listings against the register. If accreditation lapses, the listing comes down.
- Easy removal. Any professional can ask us to remove or correct their listing at any time using our removal form.
How enquiries work
When you send an enquiry, it goes to the one professional you choose, not to a group of five. If you ask us to help you choose, we pick one suitable accredited professional and pass it to them only. You confirm your email first and you're copied in on what we send. Enquiries are free for professionals. We don't charge per lead.
Featured listings
Some listings may be marked “Featured”. Featured listings appear first on a city page and are always clearly labelled. Every featured professional has to meet the same accreditation check as everyone else. After the featured listings, professionals are shown in alphabetical order.
Not veterinary advice
Our guides explain options and when to get help. They don't diagnose or recommend treatment. If your dog is unwell, in pain or its behaviour changes suddenly, speak to your vet.
